About the Author :-
Dr B. Kothandaraman has 19 years of experience in Teaching and Research in the field of Polymer Technology. After completing Masters in Chemistry (M.Sc) and Rubber Technology (M.Tech) from University of Rajasthan and IIT Kharagpur respectively, he did his research in the field of Rubber Modified Thermosets and their Composites and got his Doctoral degree. He has guided a number of M.S (by research) scholars and M.E students. Presently, he is guiding three Ph.D candidates.
After a short stint in marketing of Sophisticated Lab equipment he moved into MIT Campus of Anna University & has since been teaching subjects like Rubber Materials, Plastics Materials, Rubber Testing, Composite Materials, Adhesives etc.
He has written a chapter in Handbook of Polymer Blends and Composites published by Rapra Technologies Ltd, UK. He has also presented and published a few papers in International Conferences and Journals.
Presently, he is heading the Department of Rubber and Plastics Technology at MIT Campus of Anna University.
