The Whole Truth is fast paced &highly entertaining
If you have a penchant for thriller best sellers, then 'The Whole Truth' is surely going to fascinate you. It has all the elements of thriller novels on a global scale with all the twists and turns along with more than the usual dose of emotional drama in just the right places.
The drama is all about an arms dealer Nicolas Creel, who is also the 14th richest man in the world. All that Creel wants is yet another war between the Russians and the Chinese so that his arms firm Ares Corporation gets to supply the arms. Creel also has Richard Pender, a former white house employee on his payroll, whose firm is into perception management of Ares Corporation.
Creel gets some Russians to kill employees of Phoenix Group, which belongs to the Chinese, in an effort to spark a war between the two countries. However, an individual Aron Lesnik survives this massacre and reports this incident to a journalist Katie James.
There are other characters as well which include Shaw who works for an international law enforcement agency, who is the novel's hero. Also portrayed is his German born girlfriend Anna Fischer with whom Shaw dreams of retiring and settling down.
The novel goes on with a fair amount of drama and suspense, and makes it an interesting read. David Baldacci fans will like the fast paced drama and the short chapters moving on from one situation to another. It’s a great book to take along on a vacation and surely most of you will find it hard to put it down.
