There are few books in the history in any disciple that have altered the course of teaching and thinking. I believe that this book of genius Feynman stands in that class. Dr Richards Feynman Noble Laureate, a brilliant thinker par excellence, stands tall in the midst of galaxy of physicist. His approach to any problem is exceptionally unique; for example in the opening chapter he introduces the concept of quantum physics by explaining the concept of probability! The new emphasis of the book as the title suggests is the “Path Integrals”. The path integral approach to quantum mechanics is developed by Feynman while he was at the California Institute of Technology. The graphical representation of the path integrals those later on become famous as “Feynman diagrams”. An entirely new concept; leads to new awareness when applying to solve the problems of quantum electrodynamics.
