About The Author
"Rajen K. Gupta has a first degree in Electrical Engineering fromIIT Kanpur and is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management(IIM), Ahmedabad. He used action research and quasi-ethnographyapproach for his doctoral dissertation. He has worked inthe State Bank of India and Jyoti Ltd before moving to IIMLucknow as a faculty member. Currently, he is Senior Professorat the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon. Heteaches qualitative research paper in doctoral programme andhas been guiding students in using qualitative research for over15 years. He is an active researcher. The main domains of consultingare human resource develpment (HRD) and organizationdesign and development.Professor Gupta is a member of the international editorialboard of the International Journal of Cross Cultural Management(SAGE London), International Journal of Indian Culture andBusiness Management (IJICBM) and is associated with the Journalof Research Practice from its beginning. He is a founding memberof the National HRD Network and a professional member ofIndian Society for Applied Behavioural Science (ISABS). Richa Awasthy is a university rank holder in Applied Psychology(graduate) and postgraduate in Psychology (SpecializationOrganizational Behaviour) from Delhi University. Her PhD ison the Indian employees perception of transplanted organizationalpractices of MNCs operating in India based on multiplequalitative case study design. She has an experience of more than 14 years in research, consultancy and teaching.
